A lot of soft cheese and hard saucisson was consumed, and more games of Uno than was strictly needed. Groovestone will be performing in the ballroom of the Grand Hyatt hotel - the largest ballroom in Dubai. Photos to follow, I'm sure... We're all looking forward to<br /><ul><li>Flying Emirates to Dubai full to the brim with Christmas grub</li><li>Getting some sunshine!</li><li>Playing to a big crowd in a very big room with a big PA rig... always a pleasure</li><li>Dune boarding and shopping</li></ul>Everybody ready? After 4: 'Should old acquaintance be forgot...'<br /><br />------<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">French Alps Tour confirmed</span><br /><br />Through Gigz Management, Groovestone will be off to the French Alps in January for a month, to provide <span style="font-style: italic;">Aprés Ski</span> entertainment for the revellers of Méribel, Courchevel, La Plagne and Val d'Isere! Following on from our eventful Alps tour of 2006, we'll be based in La Tania for a month, singing for our suppers each night.<br /><br />So, if you're off for a holiday in January/February then seek us out at The Doron Pub and Le Rond Point, Meribel; The Telemark and Ski Lodge in La Tania; Es Courchevel in Le Praz; The Moris Pub in Val d'Isere... you won't be disappointed. Lots of new tunes this time including Black &amp; Gold, American Boy, Rolex, some Weezer, a bit of Blur...<br /><br />----<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">This Week's Gigs<br /><br /></span>Amongst other things, Thursday sees us playing at Imperial War Museum, London, where we will be setting-up in front of a tank.
